Mitch Pearce
Workshop Manager
We welcomed Mitch to the team in 2022.
Mitch is a Taranaki local, born in Lepperton. He found his passion for motor vehicles at the young age of 5. Starting with four-wheel driving and moving to motorcycles as a teenager. He has not left his love for wheels.
Mitch became a Fitter welder by trade at Pace Engineering. He brings a wealth of knowledge from a vast range of maintenance contracts, large projects, and a lot of general engineering jobs including repairs on trucks and trailers.
Jess SIFFLEET
Parts Manager & Workshop Administrator
Jess has a strong background in administration and heavy parts interpretation.
Born and raised in Taranaki, Jess has spent spent most of her life coastal.
Having started her Parts Career with Gough CAT. This role was a signifcant 6 years’ gaining a wealth of knowledge and connections gained through both staff and customers nationwide. Jess progressed to the Supervisor in the Gough CAT Forestry branch in Roturoa. Trucks, Machinery and engines parts knowledge are her forte.
Returning to Taranaki Jess has worked with Enerflex PTY LTD, Canadian Oil & Gas firm, Todd Energys’ critical service agent. Managing all CAT Gas engines, Waukesha Gas Engines and Ariel Compressor Assets and Parts, 2+ years before they closed doors. Jess loves baking and the guys in the workshop love Mondays morning tea break even more now.
Mel Sorrensen
Group Business Development Manager
Mel brings over 20 Years of experience in Management, Sales, and Business development. An Opunake girl at heart with many years in the farming scene around the coast.
Her background includes business development with Fonterra and management of the Kaponga and New Plymouth Farm Source stores for some three years.
In 2019 Mel joined FBT as a Business Development Manager and has progressed as Group Business Development Manager.
Mels approach is customer focused to drive efficiencies. She brings strong leadership experience and training.
